Terms of Use

Welcome to Pixcopy. By accessing the website, creating an account, uploading content, or downloading assets, you agree to these Terms of Use (“Terms”). If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

1) About Pixcopy

Pixcopy is a community-driven gallery for sharing and downloading creative assets and for showcasing promotional/advertising visuals. Pixcopy hosts user-generated content (“UGC”) posted by creators and is not the publisher of that content.

Pixcopy may publish editorial video content and production work that is not part of the downloadable asset library.

2) Definitions

“Asset” – any file, image, illustration, logo, graphic, poster, text, or related material uploaded to Pixcopy.
“Creator” – a user who uploads or submits Assets.
“Visitor” – a user who browses, searches, or downloads Assets.
“Commercials / Pixcopy Ads” – pages or placements where users promote brands, projects, or services.

3) Eligibility & Accounts

You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country) to create an account. You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and keep it updated.

4) Uploads, Ownership & Creator Warranties

Creators may upload only content they own or are authorized to share. Creators retain ownership of their Assets. By uploading, you grant Pixcopy a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, cache, index, display, adapt for technical delivery (including via CDN), and distribute your Asset on Pixcopy for the purpose of operating the service and enabling downloads.

You also grant other Pixcopy users a license to download and use your Asset under the license displayed on the Asset’s page. If no specific license appears, the default license in §5 applies.

By uploading, you represent and warrant that your Asset:

does not infringe any copyright, trademark, moral right, privacy, or publicity right;
contains no unlawful, hateful, pornographic, sexually explicit, or otherwise prohibited material;
includes any required model/property releases and third-party permissions;
accurately discloses required information under §6 (AI & sources).

Pixcopy may moderate, refuse, de-list, or remove content at its discretion (including for low quality, spam, or rights concerns) and may restrict accounts that repeatedly violate these Terms.

5) Default License (Pixcopy Free License)

If an Asset page does not show a specific license, this default applies:

You may:

download and use the Asset for personal or commercial projects;
modify, combine, and incorporate the Asset into your works/products.

You may not:

resell, redistribute, or re-upload the Asset as a stand-alone file or as part of a competing library, marketplace, or bundle;
imply endorsement by Pixcopy or the original creator;
use the Asset in illegal, hateful, or defamatory contexts;
use third-party logos, trademarks, or recognizable persons without permission or required releases.

Attribution is appreciated but not required unless specified by the Creator or a displayed license. If a Creator selects a different license on the Asset page, that license governs.

6) AI-Generated Content, Sources & Credit

Creators must clearly label Assets that are AI-generated or AI-assisted where indicated (e.g., via tags or fields provided by Pixcopy).
Creators are responsible for compliance with the terms of any AI model/tools used and for ensuring that training content, prompts, or references do not cause infringement.
Where an Asset incorporates or is derived from third-party materials, sources and credits must be provided if required by that material’s license.
Creators are solely responsible for any copyright, publicity, or trademark issues arising from their AI-generated or human-made Assets.

Credit (optional) — if you want to add author or image source, write it after the title separated by ||. Example: Modern workspace || Photo: John Doe. You may also use this field to specify AI or the model used (e.g. Illustration || AI: DALL·E).

Important: Pixcopy cannot guarantee the authenticity, authorship, or origin of any Asset in any category, including whether an image is AI-generated or a real photograph. Users are solely responsible for proper labeling and legal use. Pixcopy may remove or restrict any Asset that appears misleading, mislabeled, or that otherwise raises rights or quality concerns.

7) Language & Content Standards

Creators are encouraged to upload titles, descriptions, and tags in English for consistency across the platform.
If content is provided in another language, Pixcopy may make minimal edits or translations for clarity while preserving meaning.
Pixcopy may edit text for grammar, clarity, or policy compliance without affecting ownership.

8) Downloads & User Responsibilities

Visitors are responsible for reviewing the license on each Asset page and for obtaining any additional permissions required for their use cases (e.g., model/property releases, trademark approvals). Pixcopy does not guarantee that any Asset is free to use for your specific purpose.

9) Commercials / Pixcopy Ads

Users may promote brands, products, services, or portfolios in designated areas. You must follow applicable advertising and disclosure laws in your jurisdiction (e.g., clearly mark sponsored content). Deceptive claims, prohibited products, or misleading endorsements are not allowed. Pixcopy may label promotional content and may remove or limit distribution for policy or quality reasons.

10) Prohibited Use

scraping, mass-downloading, or rate-limiting circumvention without written permission;
injecting malware, attempting to gain unauthorized access, or interfering with the service;
using the site to harass, threaten, or exploit others;
uploading content that is illegal, hateful, sexually explicit, or that exploits minors;
posting others’ personal data without consent (doxxing) or violating privacy laws.

11) Notice & Takedown (Copyright/Trademark)

If you believe an Asset infringes your rights, contact pix@pixcopy.com or use the Contact page and include: (i) the Asset URL(s), (ii) proof of ownership or authorization, (iii) your contact info, and (iv) a statement of good-faith belief that the use is unauthorized. Pixcopy will review and respond promptly and may remove or disable access to the Asset while investigating. Repeat infringers may have accounts limited or terminated.

12) Availability, Changes & Termination

Pixcopy may modify features, update these Terms, or suspend access at any time. Material changes will be announced on the site; continued use after changes indicates acceptance. Pixcopy may suspend or terminate accounts for policy violations or legal risk.

13) Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

Pixcopy is provided “as is” and “as available.” Pixcopy does not warrant that Assets are accurate, authentic, non-infringing, or fit for a particular purpose, nor that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. Pixcopy cannot and does not verify whether any Asset is AI-generated or a real photograph. Pixcopy may remove content if misleading, mislabeled, or legally questionable.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pixcopy and its owners are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenues, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the site or Assets.

14) Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Pixcopy and its owners from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the site, your Assets, or your breach of these Terms.

15) Governing Law & Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Serbia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Courts of Pirot, Serbia shall have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms or the site.
