Privacy Policy

This Policy explains how Pixcopy processes personal data when you use pixcopy.com, its contact form, Pixbook accounts, downloads and publishing features.

1. Controller

2. Data we process

  • Inquiries: name, email address, message and the page from which the form was sent.
  • Accounts: username, email, display name, protected password data and account activity.
  • Pixbook content: uploaded files, titles, descriptions, tags, attribution, license and other information submitted for publication.
  • Technical and security data: IP address, request time, browser information, error logs and login attempts that WordPress, hosting and security systems may record.
  • Feature activity: downloads, likes and short-lived identifiers used to prevent duplicate voting or abuse.

The contact form does not save message content to a separate database created by the theme; it sends the message to our business email. The email system and server backups may retain that message under their retention processes.

3. Purposes and legal bases

We process data to answer inquiries and take steps before a contract; perform contracted services and meet accounting duties; provide accounts, downloads and publishing; protect the website against fraud, spam and attacks; resolve rights and content notices; and maintain service reliability. Depending on the circumstances, the legal basis is performance of a contract or pre-contractual steps, legal obligation, consent, or legitimate interests in operating a secure and functional service.

4. Public information

Published Pixbook profiles, display names, images, titles, descriptions, tags and attribution may be publicly available and indexed. Do not publish confidential information, another person’s data without a valid basis, or information you do not want to make public.

5. Recipients and service providers

Data may be accessible to providers of hosting, email, technical maintenance, security and content delivery, only as needed to provide their services. We use Google reCAPTCHA to protect forms and login, so Google may receive technical data under its terms. We do not sell personal data. The website currently uses no Google Analytics, Meta Pixel or direct online payment system.

6. International transfers

Some technical providers, including Google, may process data outside Serbia or the European Economic Area. Where required, transfers rely on an appropriate legal mechanism and contractual or other safeguards identified by the provider for the relevant service. 7. Retention

We keep data only as long as needed for its purpose: inquiries during communication and for a reasonable record-keeping period; contracts and invoices for statutory periods; an account until deletion or it is no longer needed; published content while active or until a valid request is resolved; and technical logs according to security and hosting processes. Backups expire through normal replacement cycles.

8. Your rights

Depending on the legal basis and circumstances, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability, object to processing, or withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing. Email pix@pixcopy.com. We may request reasonable identity verification to protect accounts and data.

You may complain to the Serbian Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection. Where the GDPR applies, you may also contact the competent data protection authority in your country.

9. Security, children and automated decisions

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no internet system is completely secure. The service is not directed to children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data without a proper basis. We do not make decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects based solely on automated processing.

10. Changes

We may update this Policy when features, providers or legal requirements change. The new version and date will be posted here.
